fajita seasoning ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 pound skirt steak
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Flour or corn tortillas
Instructions:
- Cut the steak into thin strips.
- In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
- Return the steak to the skillet and add the seasoning mixture. Toss to coat.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the steak is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Serve the fajita mixture in warm tortillas with desired toppings such as cheese, salsa, avocado, or sour cream.
