fajita seasoning ingredients




Ingredients:

  • 1 pound skirt steak
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Flour or corn tortillas
  • Instructions:

  • Cut the steak into thin strips.
  • In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
  • Return the steak to the skillet and add the seasoning mixture. Toss to coat.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the steak is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Serve the fajita mixture in warm tortillas with desired toppings such as cheese, salsa, avocado, or sour cream.
