healthy meatloaf recipe

Ingredients:

1. 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
3. 1/2 cup milk
4. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
5. 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper
6. 1 egg, beaten
7. 2 cloves garlic, minced
8. 1 teaspoon salt
9. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
10. 1/4 cup ketchup
11. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
12. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, bell pepper, beaten egg, garlic, salt, and black pepper.

3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until everything is evenly combined.

4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.

5. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.

6. Spread the ketchup mixture over the top of the meatloaf, using a spatula or the back of a spoon.

7. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160°F (71°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.

8. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
