ground beef bulgogi recipe


 Bulgogi Recipe:

Ingredients:

1. 1 pound of beef sirloin, sliced thinly

2. 1/2 onion, sliced thinly

3. 3 green onions, sliced

4. 2 cloves garlic, minced

5. 1/4 cup soy sauce

6. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

7. 1 tablespoon sesame oil

8. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

9. 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

10. Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Marinate the beef

2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, vegetable oil, minced garlic, and black pepper.

3. Add the sliced beef to the bowl and toss to coat it with the marinade. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.

4.  Cook the onions

5. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat.

6. Add the sliced onion and cook until it's translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

7. Cook the bulgogi

8. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until it's browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

9. Add the green onions and sesame seeds

10. Add the sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds to the skillet and toss everything together.

Serve and enjoy

Serve the bulgogi with steamed rice and some leafy greens on the side.

Cook timing:

Marinating time: 30 minutes to 2 hours

Cooking time: about 10 minutes (2-3 minutes for onions and 3-4 minutes for beef)
