Beef Karahi Recipe:
Ingredients:
1. 1 kg beef, cut into small pieces
2. 1/2 cup cooking oil
3. 2 onions, sliced
4. 2 tomatoes, chopped
5. 1 tablespoon ginger paste
6. 1 tablespoon garlic paste
7. 2 green chilies, chopped
8. 1 tablespoon red chili powder
9. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
10. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
11. Salt to taste
12. Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Step 1: Heat the cooking oil in a large pan or wok on medium-high heat.
Step 2: Add the sliced onions to the pan and fry until they turn golden brown.
Step 3: Add the ginger paste and garlic paste to the pan and stir for a few seconds.
Step 4: Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they become soft and mushy.
Step 5: Add the beef to the pan and stir well to mix with the onion and tomato mixture.
Step 6: Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.
Step 7: Add enough water to cover the beef and bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 8: Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the beef is tender and cooked through.
Step 9: Once the beef is cooked, remove the lid and cook on high heat for a few minutes to thicken the gravy.
Step 10: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and chopped green chilies.
